SAILvation has several volunteer opportunities available! We invite you to share your time and talents in any of the following positions:
Sailor Sponsor for "Raising the Sails" Program
This is the opportunity to help one by having direct contact with of our teens and his/her family. The sailor sponsor attends the orientation meeting prior to the event and offers support in completion of paperwork and pre-sail training. This very important role also provides transportation, if needed, to and from the marina, and meets their sailor on Egmont Key for a day of fun and exploration.
Volunteer Coordinator
If you possess organizational and team building skills, this opportunity will make the most of your talents as you coordinate the efforts of all our volunteers as they support our sailing programs.
Environmental Education Volunteer
This is the ultimate opportunity for those who have knowledge about our local marine, plant and animal environment. Share information with our sailors on board the schooner Grand Nellie on day sails and on Egmont Key during the Sails Aweigh Program.
Event Coordinator
Everything begins with planning and this opportunity is ideal for someone who would like to help coordinate the details of fundraisers, sailing events, banquets and more!
